He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lucas and Sylvia Lucas (Conrey); and his siblings, Wilma Appleby, Ruth Showalter, Jean Wright and Kenneth Earl Lucas.
He is survived by: his daughter Claudia van of Sandt; his grandchildren, Michael and Christina; and his great grandchildren, Devynn, Braedy and Ayla.
