Sherwood (Amanda), Stefani McClure (Travis Moiser) and Steven McClure (Brittany); his brother Stephen "Butch" Sherwood; his grandchildren, Michael Daryn Jay Sherwood, Brantley McClure, Waylon McClure, Keegan McClure, Alexis Jolene Sherwood, Buck Lee Sherwood, Max Mason Lee Mosier, Katelyne Stephens, Kirsten Stephens, Mason Crouch and Gage Crouch; his stepsiblings, Tina Callahan (Robby), Timmy Tremain and Tony Tremain; his siblings-in-law, Sheila McKeown (Jerry), Shane Brown and Roy Stephen Brown, Jr.; his aunt Cathy Wilson; and his uncles, Jeff Sherwood (Leora) and Chris Sherwood (Kim).

He enjoyed donating his time as the entertainment promoter at many benefits and music events.
