He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rieder and Sylvia Watt Rieder; and his siblings, Mariel Rieder Henderson and Steve Rieder. He is survived by: his children, Kris Rieder (Rachel) of Richmond and Leigh Ann Rieder of Creswell, Oregon; his granddaughter Rebeckah Rieder-Hester (Mark) of Richmond, Indiana; his stepgranddaughter Jenny Zhan of Indianapolis, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Bryson and Braxton Hester; and his siblings, Sylvia "Bebe" Rieder of Clearwater, Florida, Cherril "Cherry" Horn (Robert) of New Madison and Brent Rieder (Robin) of Cibolo, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
