She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leona Burk and Maynard Burk; her husband Michael McFarland; her daughter Michelle Stevens; her granddaughter Chelsea Stevens; her son Michael Bowman; her granddaughter Allyson Bertch; her great grandchild Andie Bertch; and her grandson Avery Bertch. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Melody requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's hospital.
