She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Wade Appleby and Pearl Mattie Appleby (Wright); her husband Earl Thomas Steele; her children, Earl Michael Steele and Pamela Jane Steele; her grandson Sean Steele; and her siblings, Dora Bunch, Dorothy Bunch, Kathleen Bunch, Kenneth L. Appleby and Woodrow Appleby.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Hurley (Benny), Dianna Rader (Jerry) and Russell Steele (Judy); her grandchildren, Debi Miller (Gibson), Tonia Steele, Cynthia Walling (Hurley), Brian Hurley, Roxanne Steele, Shelby Steele, Jeanett Steele, Nathon Schoettmer, Krystal Stone and Steven Pitts; and her sister Opal Stamm of Celina, Ohio.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
