She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Thomas and Edith Opal Stone; her husband John Steele; her son Steven Edward Steele; and her brother Donald Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita Wiser (Mendell Cummins) of Metamora, John W. Steele of Connersville and Nancy Steele-Makasci (Kemal Makasci) of Orem, Utah; her grandchildren, Mary, Tony, Ellen and Megan; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Steele of Laurel. She is also survived by two nephews; and several cousins.
