He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Kavanaugh and Katherine Kavanaugh; his siblings, Agnes Johnson, Louise Ward, Charles Kavanaugh and Thomas Kavanaugh; and his grandchildren, Jessica Sigafoose and Zachariah Sigafoose.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Kavanaugh; his daughters, Faith Hale (Steve) of Connersville and Jennifer Sigafoose (Robert) of South Bend, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tiffany Sigafoose of South Bend, Christopher Bauer (Shelly) of Connersville and Amanda Barrett (Mike) of Connersville; and his great grandchildren, Brennen Bauer, Bryce Bauer, Brody Bauer, Brynley Bauer and Alyssa Barrett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
