He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Precht Sr. and Marie Wessler Precht; his children, John Precht Jr., Paul Precht and Samantha Precht; and his brother Charles Precht Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mae Precht; his children, Annette Baker of Connersville, Donald Precht of Connersville, David Precht (Julie) of Brookville, Steve Precht (Tonya) of Connersville and Nancy Sittloh (Larry) of Centerville; and his brother Harris Precht Jr. of Connersville. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
