She is survived by: her husband Richard Kennedy; her children, Douglas Kennedy, Lu Ann Best (Ron) and Laura Thompson (Dean); her grandchildren, Patrick Best, Jessica Roberts, Justin, Cory Kennedy, Nikki, Elizabeth Thompson, Ellen Thompson and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Addyson, Camilla, Sadie, Autumn and Owen; her sister Ruth Ellen Gaines; and her niece Carolyn Judd.
