He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ruf and Laura Myers Ruf; his wife Ruth Lillian Quinlan Ruf; and his siblings, Carrie Ruf, Elsie Ruf, Maymie Kelly and Russell Ruf.
He is survived by: his son Roy Ruf (Julie); his grandson Tyler Ruf of Rockford, Illinois.; and his sister-in-law Elsie Broughton of Kenosha, Wisconsin..
The Ruf family has requested that memorial contributions in honor of Jewel T Ruf, may be made to Heritage House Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
