He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Gibson and Erma Lucille Gibson; his daughter Shirley Kay Gibson; his daughter-in-law Sarah Gibson; his brother Donald Gibson; his sister-in-law Catherine Morris Gibson; and his nephews, Dennis Gibson and Gregory Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Morris Gibson; his children, Wesley J. Gibson of Dunlapsville and Debra Miller (Kent) of Freetown, IN; his grandsons, Wesley M. Quinlan (April) of Greensburg, IN and Kent Daniel James Miller of Freetown, IN; his great grandchildren, Mallory Jean and Lainey Louise Quinlan; his nieces, Dolores "Dee" Ben (Adam) of Connersville, Patricia "Pat" Sparks (Kyle) of Connersville and Karen Dickson (Samuel) of Connersville; his nephew Jim Morris (Jenna) of Huntington, IN; and his stepgrandsons, Colton Miller and Christian Miller. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and cousins.
