He is survived by: his mother Minnie Banks Grizzell; his spouse Shelly Stapleton; his stepfather Wilbur Grizzell; his children, Montana Bennington and Preston Bennington (Emmy Dehner); his brother Norman Bennington; his half-brother Roland Bennington; his stepsiblings, Kenny Grizzell (Mary) and Ginetta Cole (Jody); his parents-in-law, Robert and Sue Stapleton; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Stapleton, Mike Stapleton (Beth), Missy Chasteen and Kelly Nichols (Larry); and his close friends, J. D. Miller and Zane Cool.
