He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Duff Ledford; his wife JoAnn Ledford of Metamora; his son Mike Ledford; his sister Alva Casteel; his half-sister Karen; and his son-in-law Wilbur "Sonny" Oakley.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Oakley of Connersville, Becky Blakley (Doug) of Greenwood and John Ledford of Los Angeles, California; his grandchildren, Alison Gates (Eric) of Franklin County, Kate Reynolds of Greensboro, Tyler Blakley (Whitney) of Indianapolis and Claire Winters (Kyle) of Indianapolis; his great grandchildren, Noah Gates, Cal, Mac Blakley, Brooks and Gus Winters; his sister Helen Barrett of Connersville; and his half-siblings, Harold Wilson of Peppertown, Indiana and Iona Wilson of Batesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
