Iris Hazel Ailes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2025, at the age of 95, Iris Hazel Ailes of Connersville, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iris Hazel Ailes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Kanorr and Flora Earhart Kanorr; her husband Walter Daryle Ailes; her stepdaughter Waletta Runyan; her brother Kenneth Kanorr; and the father of her children Loren G. Hartwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Iris Turley of Clarksville, Marsha Paddock of Cambridge City, Jennifer Groce (Dave Squires) of Centerville and Amy Bauer of Liberty; her stepson Daryle Ailes of Klamath Falls, Oregon; her grandchildren, Kevin, James, Andy Brian, Laura, Julie, Alicia, Jacob, Amanda and Wendi; her nephews, Russell, Victor and Martial Kanorr; and her son-in-law Bob Groce. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, as well as her many cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County American Diabetes Association, the Whitewater Valley Arts Association, or the Groce Family Community Impact Fund.
