It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Freda Abshear of Connersville, Indiana, born in Metamora, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rader and Kathleen Mays Rader Wilson; her siblings, Larry Rader, Opal Leach and Donna Parrett; and her nephew James Ratliff.
She is survived by: her husband Isaac Abshear, Jr.; her stepsons, Ryan J. and Brian D. Abshear; her stepbrother Robert Rasner (Sharon) of Connersville; her siblings-in-law, Cecil Abshear (Brenda) of Brookville and Lois Pickle (Dave) of Sellersburg; and her nieces, Donita Wood of Winchester and Denise Roberts of Connersville. She is also survived by three great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Freda wishes are that memorial contributions be made to the Fayette County Animal Shelter.
