It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Allen of Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Allen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Albert and Dorothy Elizabeth Gaddis Allen; his spouse Katha Herron; and his siblings, Rev. John Allen, Herschel Allen, Charles Allen, Nancy Lengle Ruth Nickel and Nancy King.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Neukam (David) of Seymour, IN, Angie Fitzgerald (Joe) of New Castle, IN and Eric Allen (Shauna) of Connersville; and his grandchildren, Kristina Robertson (Jimmy), Shauna Jowers (Trevor), Miranda Grimm (Jeromy), Corina Gray, Eric Allen (Brittney) and Tiffani Berryman (Mikey Pierson). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Funeral Home (513 W 8th St, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Columbia Cemetery W Monroe.
