He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernie Cornett and Donna Chandler Cornett; his wife Karen Plough; his children, Graclin Sky Cornett, Hallie Howard (TJ), Amber Maul (Josh), Taylor Hobbs (Devan) and Kenneth Scott Cornett; his brothers, Jeff Cornett and Dustin Cornett (Mai); and his uncle Steve Cornett. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, three nieces.
