He is survived by: his wife Rena Vail Ash; his children, Rick Ash (Kathy) of Rushville, Donald "Donnie" Ash (Barb) of Upland, Robin Dice of Indianapolis, Melonie Lucas of Glenwood, Douglas Ash (Melena) of Cincinnati and Latosha Tanklsey (Shawn) of Glenwood; his sister Bertha Poe; and the mother of his children Ada Joan Wise.
