We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 73, Delbert Eugene Carey of Connersville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewel Carey and Mae Hunter Carey; his parents-in-law, Bill and Ruby Bachmann; his daughter Debbie Carey; his siblings, Leon, Alan Carey and Jewell "Sissy" Horning; his nephew James "Buzz" Pollitt; and his brother-in-law Chuck Vohland.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bachman; his son Billy Carey of Connersville; his grandchildren, Brittany Ellis of Connersville, Mackenzie Carey of Indianapolis and Mallory Sanders of Connersville; his great grandchild Hayden Baker; his sister Wendy Evans (Ron) of Connersville; his siblings-in-law, Glenda Adkins (Tim) of Rush County, Vicki Powers (Tom) of Connersville, Tina Fox (Dave) of Connersville, Jana Vohland of Bloomington and Bob Bachmann of Connersville; and his nephew Randy Pollitt (Vicky) of Liberty. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
