She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Pollitt and Louise Stephens Pollitt; her children, Jenny Canty (Guy Thomas) of Liberty and Christy Pugh (Corey) of Shelbyville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Leanne Steele of Glenwood, Michael Marcum of Red Deer, Alberta, Austin Brandenburg of Kentucky, Elizabeth Canty of Liberty, Elijah of Laurel, Indiana, Isaiah Gray of Laurel, Indiana, Jasmine of Laurel, Indiana and Summer Steele of Laurel, Indiana; her brothers, Gerald Pollitt of Richmond and Melvin Pollitt of Georgia; and her daughter Melissa Ann Chaney. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
