He is survived by: his children, Christopher S. Friend (Jenny) of Connersville and Amy E. Friend-Creech (Roger) of Hebron, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Lindsay C. Alston (Conrad) of Connersville, Alexander Creech of Connersville, Benjamin C. Friend (Caitlin) of Chicago and Gabriel Creech of Connersville; his in-laws, Charles Avery, Diana Weaver, Leah Adams, Lewie Linke and Susan Joest; his close friends, Randy and Kathy Lucas; and his grandson Benjamin Friend. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews.
