It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hobbs of Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Morgan and Maggie Buchanan Hobbs; his son Charles Michael Hobbs; his grandson Charles Michael Redd; his son-in-law Bob Bales; and his siblings, Mary Craig, Lula Washam, Bennie Cleek, Bill Hobbs, Chester Hobbs, Henry Hobbs, Jr. and Gilmore Hobbs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Redd (Joe) of Liberty, Karen Bales and Mary Callahan (Jeff) of Connersville; his grandchildren, Brian Redd of Liberty, Stephanie Shaffer (Eric) of Indianapolis, Charles Baker, Bobbi Huber (Brandon), Billy Redd (Chris) of Connersville, IN and Seth Callahan (Kelsey) of Hendersonville, TN.; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Codey, Calum Redd, Dylan, Connor Redd, Madeline, Elaine Shaffer, Jordan, Riley, Chandler, Zachary Redd, Nicholas, Nevin Huber, Natalee Hart, Emajean and Elsie Claire Callahan.
