He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal McDaniel and Hazel Cordray McDaniel; his daughter Carla McDaniel; and his siblings, Gilbert McDaniel, Nelson McDaniel, Norman Dale McDaniel, Jimmy Bennington, Donald Bennington, Marcella Dawson and Martha Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Sue McDaniel; his children, Angela Risco (Alberto) of Georgia, David Shawn McDaniel (Jessica) of Connersville, Audrey McDaniel of Bloomington, Robin Eakin of Norwalk and Chad Stolz; his sisters, Marilyn Russell of Connersville and Wanda Ayer of South Carolina; and his cousin Rodney Hardy of Connersville. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
