We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2022, at the age of 82, Carol Dian Gettinger of Connersville, Indiana, born in Decatur, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard McNew and Geneva Boggs McNew; her husband Thomas Lee Gettinger; and her siblings, Gene McNew, Raymond McNew and Doris Lineback.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Lee "Rusty" Gettinger (Sherri) of Connersville, Karen Oldham (Andrew) of Greenfield, Tom "Gene" Gettinger of Connersville and Heather Flanigan (Brian) of Connersville; her grandchildren, Brittany Gossett (Ben), Jonathon Gettinger (MacKenzie), Zachary, Shelby Oldham, Tom Blake Gettinger (Kelsey), Fancee Congelton, Austin Flanigan (Emily), Samantha Scott (Chris), Bailey and Parker Flanigan; and her brother Russell Dale "Bud" McNew of Florida. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol to the Alquina United Methodist Church or the Alquina Blue Arrows Park.
