She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Watts Sr. and Olila Menard Watts; and her siblings, Joseph Jr. "Tootsie", Edward Watts, Jacqueline Cormier, Irene Dwiggins and Dorothy Arruda.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Steele Jr. (Sharon), Jason Steele (Ashley) and Denise Bare (Randy); her siblings, James Watts (Josephine), George Watts (Brenda), Rosemary Lupachini and Suzanne Thomas; and her husband Benjamin Lee Steele Sr.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
