It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Richard Pyatt of Commiskey, Indiana, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pyatt and Mary Ahlbrand (King); his wife Carol Peacock; his sons, Wayne and Richard; his stepfather Louis Ahlbrand; his siblings, Bill, Mike, Daniel Pyatt and Carol Pyatt; his granddaughter Diamond Pyatt; and his great grandchild Hunter Pyatt.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Pyatt of Commiskey and Cary Pyatt (Christina) of Commiskey; and his sisters, Deanna Smith of Nashville, Ginny Roberts of Columbus and Mary Jo Nentrup of Largo, Florida. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Coffee Creek Christian Church Cemetery (2615 IN-250, Paris Crossing, IN 47270).
