Lora Olive Mikesell Gayle Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lora Olive Mikesell Gayle (Commiskey, Indiana), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentice Roosevelt Mikesell and Hazel Lee Covington Mikesell; her sister Joy Mikesell Cable; her siblings-in-law, Tommy A. Wingham, Garrett Cable, Trip Barrickman, Richard Fewell, Tom Gayle, Jake Gayle, Warren "Short" Gayle, Roseilda "Rose" Mikesell, Elizabeth Hammers and Pauline Beard; her grandson Dustin Combs; her great grandchild Kennedy Combs; and her son-in-law Stan Kindred.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Gayle of Commiskey, Indiana; her children, Deanna Kindred of North Vernon, Melissa Johnson (Tom) of Monroe City, Colleen Black (Greg) of Palmyra, Liz Heilman (Steve) of Commiskey, Indiana and Raymond Dee Gayle, Jr. of Commiskey, Indiana; her siblings, Lillie Wingham of Brooksburg, Indiana, Donald Mikesell of Madison and Gerald "Buddy" Mikesell (Clara) of Commiskey, Indiana; her grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Tammy, Amanda, Brooke, Tyler, Dana, Zach, Hannah, Erica, Olivia, Kassie and Kristian; and her sisters-in-law, Violet Fewell of Lancaster, Evelyn Barrickman of Sligo and Dolores Gayle of Midway, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Interment will be private in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana. PUBLIC VISITATION (NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 Virus Restrictions are applicable) Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 p. m. - 8:00 p. m. and Sunday from 12:00 Noon-12:30 p. m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre - Hanover Chapel, 278 East Main Street in Hanover, Indiana.
