He was predeceased by: his parents, Rasinal Cummings and Nina Cummings; his grandmother E. Cummings; his siblings, Jerome Cummings, Romer Cummings, Nathan Cummings and Peggy Moore; and his son Paul Michael Miliam.
He is survived by: his children, Mary "Cassy" Stubbs (Louisville), Ashley Callahan (James) of Florida, Abby Rhodes (Kendrick) of California and William Van Cummings Jr. (Florida); and his siblings, Bernard Cummings (Sharon) and Diane Mabe (Mickey). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, several nieces, nephews.
