He was predeceased by: his parents, Feeldie C. Whittington and Mary J. Thompson Whittington; and his brother Ronnie Hornback. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor M. Whittington of Columbus; his children, Cynthia Lee Brief of Florida, Natalie Eads (Brian) of Columbus, Randy Sims (Tonja) of Hope, Rick Sims (Dorothy) of Columbus and Mark Etchison (Karen) of Greenwood; and his siblings, Edwin Meyer of Florida, Steve Hornback, Randy Hornback and Patti Gillespie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
