As an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous throughout those years, he not only maintained his sobriety but also touched countless lives as an AA sponsor, helping many on their own journeys of healing and recovery. His contributions to AA were significant; he traveled extensively, participating in numerous workshops, dedicating his time and wisdom to assist others in their struggles with addiction.
He found solace and joy on the golf course, a place where he could reflect, relax, and revel in the sport he loved.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
