She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Newsom; her sisters, Anna Forway and Mabel I. Allen; and her great grandchildren, Sean Matthew Bailey, Johnathon Crider and Jameasyn Crider.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda S. Ortiz of Grand Island, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Charles Erik Bailey of Jacksonville, FL, Heather Wyatt (Josh) of Columbus, Marc Crider of Columbus, Ashlea Crider of Columbus and Nicole Menefee (Jon) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions in Veva's name may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Elizabethtown Christian Church.
