He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thompson and Frankie Belle Webb Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Karen D. Torrey Thompson; his sons, Paul Slater Thompson, Luke Stoner and Matthew Stoner (Kaley); his sisters, Patricia Johnson (Kevin), Cheryl Parker (Terry) and Elaine Baute (Max); and his grandsons, Aleksander, Cassius, Benjamin, Abram and Elam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
