It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma F. Davis (Columbus, Indiana), born in Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fields and Eula Fields; her husband Roy Davis; her children, Wayne Fields and Diane Zurbrugg; her grandsons, Mike Fields, Timmy Fields and Jason Zurbrugg; and her son-in-law Gary Atkins.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Davis of Columbus, Margaret Branum (Terry) of North Vernon, Debbie Whedon (Willy) of Columbus, Nancy Atkins of Columbus and Laura Barnsfather (Brian) of Columbus; her stepchildren, Randall Davis and Judy Miller (Larry); and her sisters, Nettie Jessie of Columbus, Ruby Starr of Kentucky and Mable Cash of Kentucky. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
