It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas R. Hawes (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on September 27, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doctor Hawes and Myrtle Hawes of Columbus; his wife Donna Jean Hawes (Whitehouse); his sons, Craig Hawes (Diane), Doug Hawes (Susan) and John Hawes; his grandchildren, Sarah Hawes, Lauren Timm (John), Rachel Hawes, Sebastian Hawes, Hannah Hawes, Chassity May (Michael), Amberly Tappe (Jon), Caleb Hawes and Paige Hawes; and his stepgrandchildren, Tony and Angela Halberstadt.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
