She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemens Lecher and Stella Lecher (Schebler); her husband Edgar "Bud" Harpring of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Elsie Hardebeck, Gertrude Horan, Arlene Feldman and Daniel Lecher; and her son-in-law Garry Barker.

She is survived by: her children, David Harpring (Vicki), Jeanette Barker, Columbus, Samuel Harpring (Taresa), John Harpring (Belinda) and Susan Walters; and her brother Tom Lecher of Oldenburg. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, with a great-grandchild.
