It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Wayne Scallorn of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Steven Wayne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Steven Wayne farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Wayne Scallorn and Dolores Hammer Davis (Hammer); and his sister Cindy Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Scallorn (Thompson) of Columbus; his children, Cande Cranfill (Rob), Ricky Porter Jr. and Erik Scallorn; his grandchildren, Jake Kiel, Alex Kiel, Lily Doty and Rowynn Porter; and his sister Cheryl Bruno of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
