He was predeceased by: his parents, Freida Virginia Ruddick Sandlin and Byron Sandlin; and his brother Alan Dean Sandlin. He is survived by: his wife Paula S. Friedrich; his children, Sarah Muncy of Greenwood, Michael Sandlin (Allison) of Calvert City, John Sandlin (Leah) of Columbus and Matthew Sandlin (Rachel) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Stephanie Scott (James), Julia, Elizabeth Muncy, Jordan Reagan, Blake, Bailey, Scout, Eden, Madison, Nolan, Chip, Alice and JohnFredrick Sandlin; and his brothers, Tom Sandlin of Indianapolis and Kenny Sandlin (Dee) of Edinburgh. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
