She is survived by: her son Chris Tompkins (Danyel Jones) of Columbus; her sister Phyllis Hole (Jim) of Columbus; her stepgrandchildren, Gaby Martindale and Luc White; her niece Jennifer Grant; and her nephew Brian Hole.

The family has requested that those wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Sharon be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
