She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Piercefield and Mary Frazier Piercefield; her husband John; and her brother Marshall Piercefield. She is survived by: her children, John W. Hoff II (Annie Inman) of Nashville and Margaret Hoff of Florida; and her grandsons, John W. Hoff III of Greenwood and Jeremy Hoff (Robin) of North Carolina. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
