He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee Stater Sr.; his great-nephew Jalin Allen Espinal; his grandparents, Arther R. and Winafred Grace Stater; and his brother-in-law Allen Howard.
He is survived by: his mother Betty J Stater of Hope, Indiana; his sisters, Vickie Martinez (David) of Seymour and Robbie Bush (Allen) of Hope; his nieces and nephews, Amber Salvador (Jesus) of Seymour, Sarah Applegate (Randy) of Seymour, Cody Dill of Hope, Robert Martinez of Indianapolis, Maria Martinez of Indianapolis and Chase Emerson of Indianapolis; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tristen DeJesus of Seymour, Allanah Applegate of Seymour and Bradyn Applegate of Seymour; and his close friends, Bobby Setser and Danny Blair.
