He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Hoskins and Edith M. Adams Hoskins; his daughter Patti Owens; and his siblings, Allen Hoskins and Donna Stoner.
He is survived by: his wife Stella E. Henry; his children, Nancy Seaborne of Columbus, Debbie Baker (John) of Greenwood, Ron Hoskins (Mary) of Columbus and Karen Hussong (Brian) of Marion; his grandchildren, Deana Haworth, James Seaborne (Stephanie), Jason Baker (Kara), Craig Seaborne, Rudy Eckstein, Dane Hoskins (Nina) and Anna Hussong; his sister-in-law Nanette Mills of Wyoming, Michigan; and his son-in-law Darrel Owens of Columbus, Indiana. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
