He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ison and Julia Whitaker Ison; his former wife Hettie Ison; and his siblings, Elmer, Venon, James, George, Bob Ison, Anna Mae Ison, Mattie Miller and Irene Caudill.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Ison of Columbus; his son Quenton Wayne Ison of Shirley, Indiana; his granddaughter Rachael Lindsay (Roger) of New Palestine; his great grandchildren, Lylah and Lucy Lindsay; and his siblings, Chester Ison (Joan) of Marysville, Indiana, Mary Kilburn of London, Barb Watts of Marysville and Doris Ison of Columbus.
In memory of Mr. Ison memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
