It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul M. Spurgeon of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul M. Spurgeon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Spurgeon and Irene Philips Spurgeon; his wife Nancy Badskey; his daughter Susan Spurgeon; and his sister Sarah Spurgeon.

He is survived by: his children, John Spurgeon (Julia), Dan Spurgeon (Shelley) and Sharon Cediel; his grandchildren, Xiang, David, Lara, Jordan, Alexis, Luke, Gabby, Manuel, Susan and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Calypso, Cleopatra, Galileo, Mikaella and Catalina; and his siblings, David (Carol), Mark Spurgeon (Diane) and Joyce Gill.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Foundation.
