He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Haddix and Emma Smith Haddix; his wife Joyce Spears; and his siblings, Nellie Haddix, Flossie George, Margie Cody, Mossie Brown, Ella Keller Anderson, John, Willie, Roy and Elmer Haddix.
He is survived by: his children, Betsy Cross (Rick) of Columbus, Angie Haddix of Columbus and James Arthur Haddix (Kandy) of Columbus; his siblings, Troy Haddix (Virginia) of North Vernon, Carolyn Martin of Columbus and Della Gilpin of Hope; his grandchildren, Lindsey Cross Bay, Krystina Haddix and James Joseph Haddix; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Haddix and McKenna Bay.
