We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2024, at the age of 79, Norma Jean Huddleston of Columbus, Indiana, born in Huntingburg, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Jean Huddleston to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ranger and Alleen Ranger (Kemp); her son Michael Eugene Huddleston; her sister Rose Marie Ranger Wolfe; and her grandson James Curry Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Stanley Eugene "Gene" Huddleston; her sons, Joshua Huddleston (Kim) of Chattanooga, Scott Jenkins (Cristina) of Seymour, Brett Jenkins (Pratiksha) of Hendersonville, Chad Jenkins (Carrie) of Freetown and Kevin Huddleston (Tara) of Indianapolis; her brother Garland Ranger of Ferdinand; and her grandchildren, Ryan Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins (Kayla), Kyle Jenkins, Tyler James, Rachel Disla (Argenis), Nicholas James (Kalynda Hoevener), Cameron James (Addyson Napier), Kristen Webster (Cullen), Derek Jenkins, Olivia Jenkins, Greyson Jenkins (Mallory), Nathaniel Jenkins, Braeden Karnes, Kas Huddleston, Savannah Fassoth (Anthony), Madison Huddleston, Jade Huddleston, Seth Huddleston, Ciarra Reed, Samantha King (Matt) and Tamara Lanham (Ryan).

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Jean through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
