We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Monte W. Vails of Columbus, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Vails and Helen B. Merrill Vails; and his brothers, Phillip, Mel and Mack Vails.

He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Vails of Columbus; his daughters, Michelle Moats (Matthew) of Columbus and Melissa Smith (Phil) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Clark W. Moats, Grace L. Smith and Katelyn M. Smith; and his brother Mick Vails of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
