He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Nellie Mae Smith Bibie; and his siblings, Pearl Miller (Otis), Delpha Swafford (Ted), Jim Bibie, Albert Bibie and Ida Patton (Fred).
He is survived by: his children, Carla Tungate (James) of Columbus, Daphne Sweet (Chris) of Columbus and Shane M. Bibie (Chas) of Columbus; and his niece Janie Smith of Franklin. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
