He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret E. Kiel (Owens); and his brother-in-law Chuck Johnson. He is survived by: his father Ralph P. Owens; his sisters, Carol Little (Greg) of Findley and Janice Eichen (Jeff) of Apex; his wife Amber E. Johnson; and also, Jennifer Lockhart (George), Randy Johnson (Lisa) and Tammy Miller (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
