It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Joan Cameron of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Her family believes those traits helped her endure a broken hip, a TBI, losing part of her finger, two bouts with COVID and pneumonia, losing her husband, and ultimately Alzheimer's. Melva always had a saying in life of "give me my flowers while I'm living" to which her children showered her with flowers, often her favorite flower, the carnation.
Memorial contributions in Melva's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
