It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Jones (Columbus, Indiana), born in Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on May 23, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Virginia Arvin Perkins; her husband Dalton E. Jones August; her daughters, Valerie Hooten (Wade) of Columbus, Constance Lathey of Ohio, Angela Wagner (Mike) of Louisiana and Claudia Lopez; her sister Margaret "Peggy" Young (Gary) of Georgia; her pet Teddy; her father Lester Perkins; her son Billy Gene Jones; her brothers, Ronald and Jack Arvin; and her grandson Shawn Jones. She was also cherished by seven grandsons and two granddaughters; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
